| Lora received word that she has been accepted to BYU. She is planning on majoring in a nutrition major. Comment and correct me and add more info Lora.
Also, Sarah received her track assignment for BYUI and it will be Fall/Winter.
Also, Brian is on track to go to BYUI starting Winter since he wants to keep his jobs that he has (in spite of irate customers he gets occasionally working at Best Buy) until then but he has been taking classes online from BYU to get him caught up. He has been taking political science, accounting, history and personal finance.
Congrats to Tammi - has completed her RN and I think has started working in the ER at the Children's Hospital.
Eric has a new job in downtown area of Houston. But I can't remember the name of the company. Remind me Eric.
Jared is headed to Georgia? for 5 months starting in June to train for his new MO in communications for the Guard. He has been working on a project with his professor at BSU along the lines of smart vents to control the climate in your building and needs one more class ot get his masters. If you follow Katie on facebook you'll see her art projects she has done with the school. including a coffin? Is that for an upcoming drama project?
MaryAnn is expecting a girl. Ed is headed to a new job at Scott AFB near St. Louis. Would love some info on what the girls are doing.
Lizzy is expecting in September. Lizzy and David are headed to Salt Lake in March for David's sister's baby's blessing.
Donna and Brian are temple workers for the early Saturday morning shift. They are enjoying that. Donna was asked to be on the Institute Council and is attending both Nampa and Boise.
Amy and Lee are in their new house. And that means a new ward and new callings so we'll be expecting updates on that.
Boyd and Rachel were able to spend the holidays in their new house in the woods. (Sounds like a book title.) Which has also meant new schools for Nathan and Hyrum so we need an update on how they are doing. And Boyd gets to ride the train to work.
Stephen and Lisa (and jet the dog) are doing well. Lisa has a new job that she is very happy with in Nampa.
Irene and Tim will have to update us with a separate post with all their kids goings on. Rheanna and Ian and Keller are progressing in their YW's and Scouts as well as school happenings.
So everybody - keep us posted or you'll have to go with my take on things which isn't always accurate or complete.
Just know Dad and I are proud of you. We feel so blessed to have each of you in our family and pray for you constantly. Life isn't always easy or pleasant but we see the tender mercies of the Lord watching over us and know of His love for each of you. And I know of your prayers for us and for each other. Keep up your prayers and family home evenings and scripture studies. Blessings will come from your efforts.

| Your update is pretty accurate for us. :). Except Ed's new job doesn't start until after July and in the meantime he's hating every minute of the rest of his time in active duty. He did just spend 4 days in Florida and enjoyed that, but was pretty worried he brought bed bugs back from his hotel. The girls aren't doing much - Kim goes into YW in a couple weeks and has officially become tired of primary. She just chose her electives for Jr. High and I had a fight with the school over whether she should be in Pre- AP classes or not. I won, and she should. Keira and Krista are doing gymnastics and Krista just moved up to Keira's class, which caused some strife (Keira hates being "copied" by her younger sisters). Keira is flying through the Harry Potter books because I won't let her watch the movies until she reads them - her friend's mom called me mean for that... Kassie has become addicted to Wii games at the ripe old age of 4 so we are weaning her off them. They are all practicing their piano, including Kassie (who I haven't taught anything to yet, but is very dynamic).
That all sounds a little pessimistic, but we are all happy and healthy and just living day-to-day life. We are going to St. Louis for spring break to get a better idea if we should move there this summer or not. In the meantime I'm researching schools and rentals. And the pregnancy is going well. All is well.

| I don't have much except Lucy is now in nursery and really enjoying it. She had no problems going in, which made her parents happy.
David is currently in charge of quite a few projects at work that are kind of a big deal for the company. He's on a time crunch to get them all done for when it's time to launch them, so we haven't been able to spend as much time with him in the past couple of weeks.
As for me, the morning sickness is pretty much behind me. We had a scare on the night of my birthday with some bleeding. I was told to stay on bedrest until they could check me the next day. When they did, everything looked fine. The heart was beating and the baby was just as active. I've had no more bleeding since that night, but I'm still advised to take it easy for a while longer, which isn't so hard since I ended up with a rough cold the next day. So as of now, we feel that we're going to be alright. This baby is still due to come in September.

| Woot!!! Lora will be in our neck of the woods!
As for us I just finished organizing the linen closet today. We have no callings, but the ward seems very inviting. I'm sure the Bishop will be handing out callings eventually, I see setting out hymn books and RS&Elders mtg greeters in the near future (the ym hand out the programs). Lee and I came to the conclusion that we should probably start acting our age now since we're no longer at the apartment and we'll be turning 30 this year. Carson can climb out of his crib and yesterday I caught him walking on the lip of the banister with the stairs far below him. He can also climb onto the table, can shimmy himself onto the counters using just a chair that he has moved himself, and can get into his highchair. He opens all doors and is often trying to find the crayons so he can dump them all out and occasionally color on my counters. Ani has been accepted into the primary and apart from hearing over and over again that there are now five Amy's in the ward I also get to hear about how easily Ani became friends with her new classmates and how cute she is. Lee just received a title promotion that came with a bit of a raise and won't be in effect until April. He is also enjoying his little break from mutual activities and scouting....we'll see how long that lasts.

| Boyd, I would love to come see your new house and have you show us around Oregon! In fact, we'll go ahead and plan that trip as soon as you come see us in Arkansas... We don't technically have a guest room, but we do have a hide-a-bed and a boat and lots of princess toys for Nathan and Hyrum. It will be grand. | | |

| Close enough. Actually, I'll be in Georgia for four months; not five. Still a long time. It'll be a long summer for Katie. Army training usually flies by for me but I'm hearing this one will not be up to par with the others I've been to. I'm planning on driving down and, like my drive from North Carolina, getting some more video. Maybe one day I'll extract a few interesting scenes into a decent short video. But mainly I just want to play with the new camera I got at Christmas.
Katie is staying busy with school, taking occasional classes and such. We'll both be going to a conference this month highlighting Adobe Photoshop. Should come back as photo-editing pros, right?
Everett is staying as active as possible. Hard to keep up with him. He's been re-enacting scenes from Cars, Wall-E, and Thomas and likes to run around when I play Bumble-Bee Boogie (actually I recorded it onto our keyboard at a slow tempo and play it back at normal speed so it sounds pretty professional). The sunnier it gets, the more we're going to spend all that energy outside.
So the basic idea behind the automatic vents I've been working on at BSU is that the vents will be able to talk to each other wirelessly. This way, they'll be able to determine the different temperatures throughout the house and adjust so that air flow from the AC is better distributed. We just showed a demo using some different sized, clear plastic boxes and a hair dryer and they did keep the temperature close to even. Maybe I'll post the video, if it doesn't breach the patent or any of that intellectual property stuff.
