| | This is a note from my online journal entry that I'm using on lds.org from today and I thought I would include it here for my granddaughters and great granddaughters.
I love the story of Rebekah and would like to think that I am much like her. And also recognize this in my own daughters and daughter in laws. Rebekah ran to complete the requests of good people, especially her husband and her father-in-law's servant. She was anxious to serve and help people feel comfortable. It was used as a sign to the servant which he expressed by the Spirit and it was confirmed by the Spirit. It is the true nature of womanhood as part of their nature and nurturing to be this way. I've been blessed to have examples of this all around me including those of my ancestors and the family I married into. May all my daughters descended from me be this way also. With love from grandma. | | |
